North Star Photo Contest Rules and Prizes

 Pilots Friend Organic Energy Drinks 6 pack will be awarded to this Month's Contest Winner. 

• The photo(s) must be of high resolution and limited to 5.0 MB. Maximum image width 1920 pixels and maximum image height 1080 px.
• Contestants can enter up to three photos per contest.
• Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest page.
• Entries will be judged by the Air Carriers Safety Working Group, who reserve the right to make the final decision on the winner. All decisions are final. The ACSWG reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.
• By entering the contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by the [ACSWG] for promotional purposes.
• Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline date lapses.
• Each month a new contest is created with entries accepted from the first calendar date of the month through to the last day of the specified contest month.
• Previous entries from previous (NSP) Photo Contests will also be eligible for consideration in the current contest if re-entered by the contestant for the current contest month.
• The winner will be contacted via the email address provided during entry. If no response is received after one-week (7 consecutive) days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
• The criteria for determining a winner are based on originality, beauty of the landscape/nature and aircraft. How the theme of aviation is included in the photo is limited only by the entrant’s imagination.
• The selection is based on the entrant with the greatest number of votes for the specific contest month. However, The Air Carriers Safety Working Group reserves the right to override the vote count and determine a winner using their own personal, subjective evaluation. Other than that, there is no defined framework.
• The monthly winner may also be be eligible for a coveted hand crafted (turned) wooden Ball Point pen donated by Mike's Wooden Things and Stuff shipped directly to your door! Accolades from your aviation friends may or may not happen.
• The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
• The winning selection is final and will not be reconsidered.
